We eat so much of this, we always need to buy the large pack from Costco

Layer onions and peppers in the slow cooker. Place bratwurst on top.

Mix garlic, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and paprika; sprinkle over bratwurst.

Pour beer evenly over everything.

Cook on low 6–8 hours or high 3–4 hours, until brats are juicy and veggies are tender.

No beer? Swap in chicken broth.
