2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup crushed pineapple, well-drained
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Crackers, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crushed pineapple, chopped green bell pepper, green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
Stir or use a hand mixer to blend the mixture until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Shape the cheeseball:
Once the mixture is well combined, form it into a ball shape with your hands.
If the mixture feels too soft, refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to firm up for easier shaping.
Coat the cheeseball:
Place the chopped pecans or walnuts on a plate or flat surface.
Roll the cheeseball in the nuts, making sure to coat all sides evenly.
Chill:
Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve:
Before serving, you can garnish the cheeseball with fresh parsley if desired.
Place the cheeseball on a serving plate and serve with your choice of crackers.
