Italian Tortellini Salad with Salami and Mozzarella

Ingredients
1 package (9 ounces) cheese tortellini
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup mozzarella balls, halved
1/2 cup sliced salami, cut into strips
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, salami, red onion, and basil.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
