1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
½ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp sugar (optional, to balance acidity)
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
